Dig & Clean Gear: Frozen Shores and Eclipse Upgrade Prices

Last updated: 2026-08-20 ยท Play on Roblox โ†—

Update 2 adds 15 Frozen Shores gear items across the shovel, detector and spray/washer tracks. The lower-tier item names were unreadable on the racks; only their colors and prices were visible. The three Eclipse names and their 320M or 1499 Robux purchase choices were readable in S4's pop-up UI.

Update 2: Frozen Shores gear

S2's Frozen Shores stand was read twiceโ€”an initial read and a targeted recheckโ€”with the same result both times. That double-checked read produces the table below.

Spray / washerPurple; lower-tier name unreadable160Mโ€”

That is 15 items, matching the in-game changelog's โ€œ15 New Gear Tiersโ€ exactly. The changelog wording is confirmed in two independent recordings, S2 and S5.

Unresolved detector/spray assignment: one other recording's read, S1, assigned 45M / 60M / 100M / 170M to the spray stand and 32M / 55M / 95M / 160M to detectorsโ€”the two lower ladders are swapped between tracks. The table shows our double-checked S2 read. The per-track assignment of those two lower ladders therefore has one conflicting read.

Eclipse stats and purchase UI

The Eclipse Shovel's Power 640 and Walk Speed +27% appeared in three recordings: S2 inventory, S3 inventory and S4 purchase UI. The Eclipse Detector's Luck x10500 and Range 17 also appeared across S2, S3 and S4. Those two stat lines are confirmed in three independent recordings.

The Eclipse Washer name is verbatim from the S4 purchase UI. Its Power 1283 and Range 64 are a single-recording read. In the same recording, each Eclipse item offered the choice โ€œ320M or 1499 Robuxโ€.

The scale change is visible against the dated Home Beach tops:

  • Diamond Shovel: Power 40; Eclipse Shovel: Power 640 โ€” a 16ร— power jump.
  • Garnet Pressure Washer: Power 285 / Range 44; Eclipse Washer: Power 1283 / Range 64.

Sphinx Sands mid-tier gear

The Update 1 changelog says โ€œBrand New Gear!โ€, double-read in S8 and S7. Together with the Update 1-era S8 inventory and S7's Sphinx Sands purchase UIs, that dates the Aquamarine, Crystal and Jade generation to Update 1.

S7 showed the Aquamarine line sold on Sphinx Sands. Each cash price below is a single-recording purchase-UI read from S7:

ItemCashStats and evidence boundary
Aquamarine Shovel210MยขPower 160, Walk Speed +22% in the S2 inventory; stats are a single-recording read
Aquamarine Detector145MยขLuck x850 in S2 and independently in S8; Range 14.5 appears in S2 only
Aquamarine Pressure Washer118MยขPurchase UI seen in S7; this source set did not provide a stat read for the washer

Two additional Sphinx-era detector reads need separate boundaries:

  • Jade Detector: S8 showed Luck: x4 in one inventory. This is a single-recording stat read.
  • Crystal Detector: S2 read its Luck stat as x1100, while S8 read x110. Because those two recordings conflict, this guide publishes neither Luck value as a confirmed stat.

Reaper Bundle: effect confirmed, price unresolved

S1 and S2 both showed a Reaper Bundle stand on Home Beach with the effect text โ€œ+350% Best Shovel, Detector, and Spray!โ€ That effect is confirmed in two independent recordings.

S7 later showed a direct โ€œ2x Goldโ€ purchase UI at 540 Robux, suggesting that the earlier S1 540 bundle reading may have been a misattribution. The only direct Reaper Bundle price read remaining is 1499 Robux in S2, and it is a single-recording read. This guide therefore leaves the bundle price unconfirmed rather than publishing 1499 as a confirmed price.

Home Beach gear โ€” dated August 8 read

Three upgrade tracks, and they do genuinely different jobs. Prices as shown on August 8, 2026 โ€” the game is new and actively updating, so verify in game.

Shovels โ€” digging power

The hard gate. Power decides what you can extract at all.

ShovelCashNotes

Purple190,000

Detectors โ€” finding and rarity

Seven tiers in the Home Beach ladder read on August 8.

DetectorCash
Silver1,100
Green5,600
Yellow28,000
Blue140,000
Gold500,000
Rainbow2,800,000

Sprays โ€” cleaning speed

Green Bottle26,000
Yellow Bottle140,000
Purple Bottle800,000
Garnet Pressure Washer5,200,000 (Power 285, Range 44)

The late-game tier stops being a bottle and becomes a pressure washer with its own Power and Range stats, so the cleaning track has more depth than the early shop suggests.

Buy the shovel first โ€” and it isn't close

The three tracks are not equivalent, because only one of them can stop you outright:

  • Shovel = a hard gate. Try to dig something above your Power and you get "You need a stronger shovel to dig this!" The item is lost.
  • Detector = quality of what you find. Slower progress, not blocked.
  • Spray = throughput only. Purely how fast you process what you already dug.

Tier-for-tier the shovel is also the most expensive โ€” 1.6K vs 1.1K vs 900 at tier 1, 1.1M vs 500K vs 800K at tier 5 โ€” which is a reasonable signal of how the game itself weights them.

The 249-Robux trap

When a dig fails on an item too strong for your shovel, the game offers:

"You lost a 1 in ??? [11.7KG] Item โ€” recover it for 249 Robux?"

Note what that offer hides: the rarity is shown as 1 in ???. You are being asked to pay for an item whose value you cannot see, at the exact moment you feel the loss.

For comparison, the Stone Shovel costs 29 Robux โ€” about one eighth of a single recovery, and it keeps working forever.

If you're seeing this prompt regularly, the prompt is not the problem. Your shovel is.

When to stop upgrading

The island luck ladder now reaches 8ร— on Frozen Shores, so the old tool-versus-island fork repeats late-game. Frozen Shores has a 120Mยข single-source on-screen unlock price, while the gear on the island spans 32M to 320M. The islands guide keeps the price evidence and multiplier source counts together; the rarest-items guide covers the additional luck layers.
