Dig & Clean Controls & UI Guide
Last updated: 2026-08-10 ยท Play on Roblox โ
On PC, click the dig spot, then click rapidly to fill the digging meter.
That is the complete Dig & Clean-specific control sequence we could verify on screen. The rest of this guide separates what the footage actually showed from standard Roblox controls and narrator-only claims.
PC controls we verified
| Action | Control | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Start digging | Click a dig spot | Visible at 00:39โ00:41 in recording A |
| Digging minigame | Click rapidly to fill the bottom meter | Visible at 00:40โ00:50 in recording A |
| Move | WASD | Roblox desktop platform default; mentioned only in recording B's narration |
| Jump | Space | Roblox desktop platform default; mentioned only in recording B's narration |
The footage did not show Dig & Clean's own keyboard prompt for WASD or Space.
We therefore treat those two as Roblox platform defaults, not as controls
proved by an in-game tutorial. We also do not list narrated E or number-key
bindings as verified Dig & Clean controls.
HUD map
The two PC recordings show the same practical screen map:
| Screen position | Buttons |
|---|---|
| Left | Shop ยท Gear ยท Collection |
| Right | VIP |
| Top | Home ยท Museum/storefront |
These are the visible labels and positions in the recordings. The footage does not document every state or submenu behind them.
Sell-stall dialogue tree
The seller opens four choices at 02:18 in recording A. Transcribed exactly, including capitalization:
I want to sell thisI want to sell my entire InventoryHow much is my Inventory worth?bye
The third choice is the safe one when you want a price check without committing to a sale. For why selling a displayable find is usually a bad trade, see the item-values guide.
Pirate and travel dialogue tree
At 03:00โ03:05 in recording A, the pirate's first menu is:
I want to travelWhere does this take me?What is at other islands?bye
Choosing travel opens:
Shipwreck cove ($1.1M)bye
The $1.1M Shipwreck Cove price agrees across the two recordings and the separate islands guide. The menu evidence does not show replies for every question, so we do not invent the pirate's answers.
Don't waste Robux
Three prompts are designed to catch you when speed or loss feels urgent. None requires Robux to keep progressing.
| Prompt or item | Robux price | Cash or free route |
|---|---|---|
| Recover a failed dig | 249 Robux | Upgrade the shovel with cash before the next hard dig |
| Instant Clean all items | 249 Robux | Clean them normally with your spray |
| Stone Shovel | 29 Robux | Buy the same shovel for $1.6K cash |
The recovery offer appears after You need a stronger shovel to dig this! and
asks 249 Robux for an item whose rarity is hidden as 1 in ???. There is no
cash button for recovering that exact item after it is lost. The cash
replacement is prevention: spend $1.6K on the Stone Shovel and reduce future
failures instead of paying for one mystery item.
The Instant Clean sign also asks 249 Robux, but normal cleaning remains available. And the Stone Shovel's own prompt shows the clearest comparison: 29 Robux or $1.6K cash for the same Power 3, +10% walk-speed tool.
In short, every pressure point has a no-Robux route: cash for the permanent shovel, or ordinary play for cleaning. Keep Robux out of the basic loop.
Why the spray prices conflict
The recordings do not show one stable spray-price ladder:
| Recording A | Recording B |
|---|---|
| $900 | $6.5K |
| $5.5K | $25K |
| $22K | $100K |
| $100K | $220K |
| $220K | $400K |
These were two different recorded sessions. The difference may be version- or progress-related, but the footage does not tell us which, so we are not picking one list as current. Only $100K and $220K appear in both recordings.
For the equipment tracks and another dated price snapshot, use gear upgrades. That page's ladder comes from its own source sessions; do not treat it as proof that either conflicting list above is the current universal price. We keep equipment detail there instead of expanding it on a controls page.
Mobile and console
Dig & Clean officially supports mobile, tablet, PC and console, but we haven't verified the exact touch/console layouts yet.
Both recordings used the Roblox desktop client. Until touch prompts and controller bindings appear on screen in source footage, we will not guess at joystick positions, action buttons or controller mappings.
