All 9 Sunken Shard Locations in +1 Speed Monkey Escape

Cross-checked against three separate guide videos, which matters here: they don't all agree. Below is what two or more sources place in the same spot, with the disputed ones marked.
The nine locations
| # | Where | Landmark |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Lobby | Behind the orange "Top Robux" leaderboard wall |
| 2 | Lobby | On the high platform above spawn, near the UPGRADES wall โ reachable with the jump booster on the left of spawn |
| 3 | Stage 2โ3 โ ๏ธ | Down in a pit between the grey block platforms |
| 4 | Stage 4 | Near the end of the stage, by the yellow lava |
| 5 | Stage 5 | On a side platform off the main path, in the rolling-boulder section |
| 6 | Stage 6 | In the water below the platforms โ you have to drop in |
| 7 | Stage 7 | Inside the maze, in a grassy pit |
| 8 | Stage 7 | Inside the maze, on top of a high green pillar |
| 9 | Stage 9 | In a pit/room at the very end of the stage |
Each pickup shows "Collected X/9 Sunken Shards!" on screen. That message
is the only progress indicator our sources showed โ there's no persistent
counter in the UI.
Where the guides disagree
โ ๏ธ Shard 3 โ Stage 2 or Stage 3? One source puts it under a grey pillar in Stage 2, another in a pit between grey blocks in Stage 3. Both describe the same kind of place. If it isn't in one, check the other.
โ ๏ธ Shard 4's landmark. One source says behind a green block on the right, another says floating above the yellow lava at the end. Same stage, so sweep the end section.
A third guide diverges much further, placing three shards in the Stage 6 maze and the last one in Stage 8. Its stage numbers run consistently one lower than the other two guides in the back half, which looks like a misread rather than different shards โ but we're flagging it because if you're following that video and coming up empty, this is why.
The reward
One recording shows on-screen text after the ninth shard:
"Reward: x2 Speed Treadmill"
The other two recordings show no reward text at all โ one has the narrator claim something vaguer, which we're not repeating as fact.
So: a permanent 2ร speed treadmill is what one source captured on screen. We can't corroborate it, and we'd rather tell you that than pretend three sources agreed.
Worth doing?
If the x2 Speed Treadmill is right, yes โ comfortably. Speed is the entire progression currency in this game, and a permanent doubling is worth far more than any single tail upgrade you can buy at that stage of the game.
The collection also takes you through Stages 1โ9 of World 1, which you need to clear anyway for rebirths.
