Magic Loot Alchemy Guide: Every Recipe We Verified, Brew Times, and What the Robux Price Actually Buys
Last updated: 2026-08-12 · Play on Roblox ↗
Brewing costs materials plus time, not Robux. REC-C showed the cauldron counting down with “Wait 09:32 to complete” at 10:14. REC-J showed recipe ingredients followed by an “or N Robux” option. Read together, the footage resolves a misleading UI: the Robux number is the instant-completion price, not the recipe cost.
That distinction matters because competing pages call these “Robux recipes.” The recorded interface says otherwise.
Brew time, not a Robux gate
REC-E showed brew times rising with result tier:
| Recorded result tier or step | Brew time |
|---|---|
| Uncommon result | 10 seconds |
| Rare result | 1 minute |
| Next recorded step | 3 minutes |
| Legendary result | 10 minutes |
The complete recorded brew-time ladder above is [single recording, REC-E].
We did not verify the label attached to the 3-minute row, so we leave it as the next recorded step rather than assigning it a rarity. Recipes also unlock with rebirth level.
Recorded rebirth gates
REC-D showed this full set in the alchemy menu. [single recording, REC-D]
| Formula | Rebirth required |
|---|---|
| Long-long Arm | R1 |
| Water Orb | R3 |
| Giant Growth | R4 |
| Meteor Spell | R4 |
| Earth Spike | R6 |
| Thunder Thunder | R6 |
| Frost Thorns | R7 |
| Dragon Breath | R7 |
| Wood Thorn | R10 |
| Radiant Sword | R11 |
The Giant Growth-era R4 gate is independently consistent with REC-J's separate “Rebirth 4 required” sighting. We did not verify gates for formulas outside this table.
Recipes confirmed in at least two independent recordings
The recipe list UI displays ingredient types, while a brew screen displays owned/required counts. Requirements above 1 do appear on brew screens, so we use the required-count denominator where footage shows one instead of assuming every listed ingredient is 1×.
| Formula | Verified ingredients | Independent recordings | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rocket Spell → Fire Arrow Potion | Blueberry + Withered Mushroom | 4 | — |
| Long-long Arm Formula | Golden Tooth + Goblin Finger | 4 | — |
| Water Orb Formula | Goblin Finger + Dwarf Emblem | 2 | — |
| Giant Growth Formula | Copper Earring + Flame Crest | 2 | — |
| Meteor Spell Formula | Flame Crest + Furnace Core | 2 | Instant price appeared as 39, 48, and 59 Robux across recordings [disputed] |
| Earth Spike Formula | Coconut + Shell | 3 | — |
| Thunder Thunder Formula | Stale Bread + Rum Bottle | 2 | — |
| Dragon Breath Formula | Undying Spirit + Sulphur Lumps | 2 | The better-supported reading is 2× Undying Spirit + 1× Sulphur Lumps: the brew screen showed 2/2 and 1/1, and earlier dedicated footage showed 2×; the recipe list showed 1× each [disputed on quantity] |
| Wood Thorn Formula | Volcanic Rock + Orc Ears | 3 | One recording showed Volcanic Rock ×2 [disputed on quantity] |
| Night Wraith Formula | Eye of Stone + Firefly + Dwarf Emblem, 1× each | 2 | A third screen showed “×9/×4/×7”; the owned/required UI format explains those as the player's owned counts, as shown by “4/1” elsewhere |
| Dino Egg Formula | Ice Magic Crystal + Bear Paw + Scarlet Heart Flower ×2 | 2 | Two independent recordings |
Recipes seen in only one recording
These are useful leads, not cross-recording confirmations:
| Formula | Ingredients | Evidence note |
|---|---|---|
| Frost Thorns | Black Powder + Cursed Ring | Brew screen showed 2/2 Black Powder, so the requirement is 2× Black Powder [single recording] |
| Radiant Sword | Orc Teeth + Iron Armour + Lava Behemoth Remains | Brew screen showed 6/2 Lava Behemoth Remains, so the requirement is 2× Lava Behemoth Remains [single recording] |
| Necromantic Rhapsody | Blue Dragon Egg + Frost Vein + Eye of the Ice Dragon | Eye quantity appeared as ×1 and ×2 on conflicting screens [single recording] [disputed] |
What we deliberately omitted
Sheepy Formula, Flame Chili Formula, and Ring Gas are omitted. We saw three different ingredient lists for Sheepy and Flame Chili and cannot tell you which is right. Ring Gas also had two incompatible readings: Fluorescent Spider Silk + Deadly Spider Powder + Queen's Blood Sac in REC-D versus the earlier Golem Core + Queen Blood Sac reading. We are not listing one as the recipe.
The material cost you do pay
Every brew consumes materials that could instead be sold. Using the base values in our coin farming value table, the opportunity cost for three verified recipes is:
| Recipe | Base-value arithmetic | Base Coins forgone |
|---|---|---|
| Meteor Spell | Flame Crest 600 + Furnace Core 900 | 1.5K |
| Earth Spike | Coconut 1,350 + Shell 5.5K | 6.85K |
| Dragon Breath | Better-supported reading: 2 × Undying Spirit 98K + Sulphur Lumps 140K; list reading: Undying Spirit 98K + Sulphur Lumps 140K | 336K or 238K [disputed on quantity] |
Those are base values before the player's rebirth Coin multiplier.
What the instant price buys
Across the observed recipe list, instant completion rose from 9 Robux near the bottom through roughly 19, then roughly 29–39, and eventually 999–1099 Robux near the top. In practical terms, that option pays to skip a 10-second wait at the bottom or as much as a 10-minute wait at the top; the materials remain the actual recipe.
Recorded account price scales differed consistently. REC-D's prices sat about 20% below another account's scale — for example, Double Coins was 160 versus 199 Robux — while Extra Skill Slot appeared at 400, 420, and 499 Robux across three accounts. At least two accounts showed consistently lower price scales, with a third differing again. Per-account offers are the likely explanation, but that remains our inference rather than a verified pricing rule. [disputed, likely per-account offers — still an inference] Meteor Spell's direct 39 / 48 / 59 Robux conflict remains in the recipe table too.
Potion effects and Collection Index rewards
REC-D showed these six Collection Index effect descriptions. [single recording, REC-D]
| Potion | Collection Index effect text |
|---|---|
| Fire Arrow | “launch a flaming arrow” |
| Long-long Arms | “attacks cause additional damage” |
| Water Orb | “three water ball attacks” |
| Giant Growth | “twice your size, health and attack boost” |
| Radiant Sword Potion | “The Judgment of the Holy Light Sword.” |
| Flame Chili Potion | “Eating a fiery chili grants the power of fire. It also provides additional attack effects and increases damage.” |
- Lucky Potion = Luck ×2 and Super Lucky Potion = Luck ×5 in on-screen effect text. [single recording, REC-K]
- Legendary potions unlocked skills: REC-C showed an Abyss Water skill and a Flame Chili skill. [single recording, REC-C]
- Claiming a potion's Collection Index entry gave +1 backpack storage; the Fire Arrow entry also gave +1 movement speed in REC-G/REC-J. See backpack capacity.
- REC-I showed the Collection Index tracking Potions 1/20. [single recording, REC-I]
The current Dino Event shop also sells potions, but shop purchases and cauldron recipes are separate paths.
How we verified this
We compared cauldron footage from REC-C and REC-J to separate the ingredient recipe from the instant-completion option, then kept only recipes repeated in at least two independent recordings in the main table. REC-D supplied the full recorded rebirth-gate sequence, the third Meteor Spell price, and the conflicting Ring Gas list, plus the six Collection Index effect descriptions. XiaoPhet's REC-A and REC-K are the same channel, so we never count them as two independent confirmations.
Single-source recipes stay in their own table with [single recording] markers. Conflicting prices and quantities stay [disputed], and Sheepy, Flame Chili, and Ring Gas stay omitted because incompatible screens do not support an honest recipe.
