Magic Loot Armour List and When It Beats a Wand Upgrade

Last updated: 2026-08-08 ยท Play on Roblox โ†—

Armour multiplies Power. Wands add Power. That one sentence decides every purchase in this game, and it is why "buy whichever is stronger" gives the wrong answer roughly half the time.

Prices are as shown on August 8, 2026. Magic Loot is in Beta with an event running, so check in game before spending.

The armour list

The Lava card was cut off at the edge of the shop UI in our footage. We can see its rarity and multiplier but not its price, so we're not going to invent one.

Note the pattern: each tier adds a flat +0.2 to the multiplier while the price goes up roughly 10ร— to 50ร—. That matters below.

When armour actually beats a wand

Armour is worth (new multiplier โˆ’ old multiplier) ร— your base Power. A wand is worth its Power ร— your current multiplier.

Set those equal and you get a crossover point. Base Power here means your Power before the armour multiplier โ€” what training and your wand have given you.

DecisionArmour wins once base Power exceeds
Lunar (1M) vs Wildbone Wand (400K)46,500
Lunar (1M) vs Ice Crystal Wand (1.25M)24,000
Golden Reverie (50M) vs Dark Crystal Wand (10M)2,450,000
Golden Reverie (50M) vs Pink Diamond Wand (25M)2,100,000

Reading that table

  • Early on, wands win โ€” decisively. With a few thousand base Power, the jump from ร—1.2 to ร—1.4 is worth a few hundred Power. The Wildbone Wand at less than half the price hands you +3,100 flat. It isn't close.
  • Lunar becomes correct around 24,000โ€“46,500 base Power, depending on which wand you're comparing it against. If you're sitting on 1M Coins and your base Power is in the tens of thousands, buy the armour.
  • Golden Reverie is a late purchase. At 50M Coins it doesn't overtake the Dark Crystal Wand until roughly 2.45 million base Power. Buying it early because it's "rare" is the most expensive mistake available in the shop.

The compounding argument

There is a real counter-case to the table. Armour multiplies everything you buy afterwards, so an early multiplier makes every later wand better too. That's true โ€” but the numbers above already account for it at the moment of purchase, and Coins spent early are the scarcest Coins you'll ever have. Our read: follow the crossover, don't pre-buy multipliers.

How to equip

Buy an armour and the button under its card reads Equipment. Click it and it changes to Equipped. You keep every armour you buy and can switch freely.

One disagreement we didn't resolve

One recording showed the Apprentice armour with a price of 100K Coins / 29 Robux; the dedicated armour-shop recording showed it as an owned starting item with no price. Most likely it is granted early and the shop still displays a card for it. Treat Apprentice as "you already have it" and check in game if it matters to you.
